Our History

Eco-Protective Products is a energetic, growing company.  The roots of our organization trace back over a decade beginning in 1994.  In that year, the founders of Eco-Protective Products and a team of chemical engineers discovered an innovative method for infusing proprietary ceramic micro-beads into an elastomeric paint creating a phenomenal coating resistant to heat, water penetration, UV ray degradation, and a host of other issues that often inhibit the performance of traditional paints.

Through careful analysis and independent testing, the coating's [now Platinum Exterior 1000] proprietary formulation of ceramic micro-beads and high quality resins achieved superior results in standard performance measures compared to more well-known paints and coatings.  During the remainder of the Twentieth Century's final decade, the distribution of Platinum Exterior 1000 grew substantially, and in addition to domestic product promotion and sales, company representatives were able to successfully introduce the coatings in Australia, Asia, South America, the South Pacific, and the Caribbean.

Since the beginning of the 2000's, focus on building and design began to quickly shift toward promoting Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. Understanding the importance of resource conservation, high efficiency structures, and reducing human impact upon the environment, management now with Eco-Protective Products undertook the task of ensuring each of our products were of the highest quality, eco-friendly, and delivered long-lasting, reliable performance. This process culminated with the founding of Eco-Protective Products, LLC in January of 2008, and  Eco-Protective Products maintains much of the same faces from the early days in the 1990's with the helpful addition of young, forward thinking minds.
